On World Architecture Day, our college proudly inaugurated its first in-house magazine, a milestone that reflects the creativity and dedication of our students. The magazine, a collaborative effort by the architecture department, showcases the hard work and talent of our student body. From conceptualizing the theme to designing and curating content, students played an integral role in every stage of production. Decoration is also made eco-friendly using crape paper, paper cups, flowers and hangings from wire etc. Students also played traditional artform called lezim during welcoming event of Ganesha. At the day of visarjan games and performances are carried out by students. So with great enthusiastic, joy and with positive vibes we carried out this festival.

In this artform they showcased the advantages and disadvantages of social media & made aware about how over-use of this is affecting us. Action TESA has achieved several significant milestones. It introduced the first thin MDF plant in India and currently holds the top position in the panel industry within the country. The products displayed in the moving studio (bus), called as STUDIO ON WHEELS which was very convenient for everyone to get the experience of this products . Click here >>On the occasion of colors festival Rangpanchami and with managements approval. We Architectural Department had 2 days workshop of WALL ART AND PAINTING in the campus of architecture department on 27th & 28th March 2024. The aim of the workshop was to teach the students about the Preservation and Importance of Traditional Wall Painting that has been practiced for thousands of years and to introduce the students to the association of colors through colorful shades. The event was successfully completed and out of 62 students 59 students attended the workshop. And the workshop was held under the guidance of Artist Mr. Dayanand Patne (2 times national award winner). This workshop was done within the premises itself and even all the faculty members were also partly engaged in the workshop. It has resulted in terms of beautiful and meaningful arts and various architectural designs which are known as marvelous of architecture worldwide. And also, we would like to mention that one of the walls is dedicated to legendary Ar. B. V. Doshi to inspire students with his ideology towards architecture and the society. With the guidance of Prin. Ar. Savita Dipali, Ar. Amol Chaphalkar and with the support of faculty members, Ar. Yashomati Patil, Ar. Akash Rodagi, Ar. Bhakti Udnoor, Ar. Nikita Bhinge, we knew that this workshop was supposed to be successful. And Ar. Pratiksha Dharane and Ar. Shubham Badole handled the workshop as coordinators for the same.

Case studies for Public School Architectural Design project- The 3rd year students of SES COA visited Sanjay Ghodawat International School, Atigre and Sanjeevan Vidyalay, Panhala under the guidance of Ar. Pankaj Upadhye and Ar. Ganga Thalange. The students studied the planning, use of different spaces for enhanced learning and inter- relation of different zones within the school campuses. On a wind- swept morning, students and faculty of SESCOA could sight many migratory and water birds at the lake like open billed stork, blach headed ibis, black ibis, woolly necked stork, common sand piper, little grebe, purple heron, grey heron, Eurasian coot etc. as well as deers. Kota" Sir. A tribute to the late Ar.V.T.Kota was paid by watching a video and listening to his great thoughts about architecture and architects. After visiting the Karve memorial, the students meet the designer of the memorial Ar. Narendra Dengle Sir. Click here >>It was a two days workshop conducted by : Aarti Badamikar BFA Textile Design, Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai M.Des Textile Design, NID, Ahmedabad Solapur has its own distinctive features and structures. Students have expressed these impressions on panels of 4 * 4 and 6 6" * 4 through murals of elevations of these structures or events. These murals are essentially collage work of locally produced and available Solapuri stuff. Eg: Solapuri chadder, terry towel, waste yarn, basalt stone, beedi, straws, cattle fodder, jowar, groundnut covers, etc.
